When entrepreneurs do well, so does the economy. In the late 1980s, this idea bore a concept named Economic Gardening right here in Colorado. The City of Littleton developed Economic Gardening as a means to offset local job loss.

The idea behind Economic Gardening is simple. But the success of its goal is imperative. That is, help entrepreneurs succeed. Today, Economic Development organizations across the country model a concept that began twenty years ago.

As we continue to look for new and effective ways to strengthen our own community, we’ve partnered with Douglas County to start an Economic Gardening pilot program. In this program, we help local business with competitive analysis and market research, legal and financial issues, as well as other key business matters.
